USES
Dehydrated Provident Pantry and Mychoice Margarine Powder is reconstituted by adding water and sometimes a little oil.  You can then use reconstituted Margarine in any way you would normally use Margarine.  Since Margarine was originally created as a substitute for butter, you can use it in any way that you would normally use butter.  Its primary use is in baking, but it can also be spread on bread just like normal butter.  Some people prefer the taste of margarine to butter and hence use it simply as a replacement for butter.

In long term food storage, margarine or butter powder are an integral part of your long term emergency storage plan.  When you need to survive a long disaster, you will need all of your baking tools to go right along with your fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy.

DIRECTIONS
Dehydrated MyChoice and Provident Pantry Margarine Powder for Long Term Food Storage is reconstituted by mixing it with water.  Blend 1:1 – Warm water with Margarine Powder.   You may need to adjust this mix to suit the consistency that you prefer.  If you want to add a bit of flavor and make the mix creamer, add ½ a portion of vegetable oil to the mix.  When you are done mixing it, if you don’t use it immediately, it’s best to put it into the refrigerator.

SHELF LIFE
We always recommend that you store your Emergency Survival Long Term Food Storage in a cool dry place.  It really makes all the difference in the world. Heat is the enemy.  This Margarine powder will last 10 years sealed if stored correctly, and about 1 year after opened (if also stored correctly).  This is the kind of item you want to rotate and start using every 7 years or so.  (That’s one of the benefits of the smaller sized Mychoice cans.  They are easier to use up in rotation but they do cost more).

OXYGEN ABSORBER

Each one of our MyChoice and #10 Provident Pantry Emergency Survival Food Storage Margarine Powder cans comes with an oxygen absorber.  You want to throw that away as soon as you open the can.
