Oxygen Absorbers with a Nitrogen Flush

Shelf life of food is almost solely determined by how much residual oxygen is left in the food packaging during the packing process, as bacteria grows and thrives in oxygen-rich environments.  To ensure that oxygen is not present, Legacy Premium places an oxygen absorber in each pouch, flushes oxygen out with a nitrogen flush and then triple seals each bag to ensure that your food retains a rich flavor profile and high nutritional values for up to 25 years.  Our Mylar pouches are also sunlight resistant and stored in stackable plastic buckets to offer maximum protection from water, rodents, and puncturing.
