Directions:
Place desired amount of Imitation Sausage Textured Vegetable
Protein in a saucepan and completely cover with water. Simmer for 10 minutes
or longer. Use as cooked meat...
OR...Add Imitation Sausage Textured Vegetable Protein "as is" to wet
dishes that will simmer for 10 minutes or longer. Add 1 3/4 cups extra liquid
for each cup of Sausage Textured Vegetable Protein used. Each 1 ounce serving
is equivalent to 3 ounces of cooked meat. Care should be taken to handle
rehydrated Textured Vegetable Protein as you would fresh meat.
Ingredients:
Textured soy flour, caramel color, partially hydrogenated soybean
oil, water, salt, sugar, hydrolyzed corn gluten-soy-wheat gluten protein,
natural flavors.
