Originally developed for use in the military, our whole egg powder, when blended with water, reconstitutes into a product similar to fresh whipped eggs. These reconstituted eggs may then be used as a direct substitute for fresh eggs. Honeyville Powdered Whole Eggs are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.

Shelf-Life: Powdered Whole Eggs will store for up to 3 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).

Instructions: To reconstitute one egg, mix 2 tablespoons of Powdered Whole Eggs with 4 tablespoons of water. When using with other dry ingredients, it is not necessary to reconstitute egg. Simply add to dry ingredients and increase water measurements in mixture to necessary amount. Honeyville's Powdered Whole Eggs are equivalent to about 80 large fresh whole eggs in each can.

Uses: Powdered Whole Eggs can be used for anything that calls for eggs in the recipe, including baked goods, omelets, scrambled eggs and more.

Packaging: Powdered Whole Eggs are sealed air tight in a #10 can and weighs approximately 2.25 pounds.  Each can contains 78 servings. One serving size is 2 tablespoons.

Ingredients: Pasteurized whole egg with less than 2% sodium silico aluminate added as an anti-caking agent.

Allergen information: Contains egg. This product is produced on equipment that processes products containing soy, wheat, egg, peanut, and tree nuts.

Powdered EggsI searched all the brands and prefer Honeyville. Having said that... powdered eggs are still powdered eggs, and they never really have figured out how to make them taste anything like fresh. Written by Alex Findley on Thu 16 May 2013 1:37:08 PM GMT
Great TasteMost dry eggs are terrible. Not these. I really like them, and we use them in our food storage regularly. Written by Wanda Petrei on Tue 9 Apr 2013 11:54:10 PM GMT
I only buy HoneyvilleI'm so glad Disasternecessities is now carrying Honeyville. I use them for all my 72 hour kits, but I will only buy Honeyville brand food storage. These eggs are wonderful, taste great, and have good texture. I only buy Honeyville! Written by Wendy Stansburry on Thu 25 Oct 2012 8:13:00 PM GMT
